El Cubanos - Singapore’s Local Take on Fast Food, with a Cuban Twist

El Cubanos is more than just a cafe—it’s a flavorful journey that brings the rich, vibrant taste of Cuban cuisine to Singapore, tailored for a halal-conscious audience. Specialising in their signature Cuban pulled beef sandwiches, El Cubanos stands out by offering a unique fusion of international flavors with local accessibility.

When I collaborated with 160works on this project, our goal was to re-brand, and craft marketing materials that not only highlighted the mouthwatering appeal of their dishes but also communicated the brand’s dedication to inclusivity and authenticity. Together, we designed a cohesive range of digital and print collaterals—from striking posters that catch the eye to thoughtfully laid-out menus that tell the story of the food.

Each piece was created to resonate with El Cubanos’ target audience: adventurous food lovers seeking halal options without compromising on global flavors. The marketing approach was as dynamic as the cafe itself, combining bold visuals and storytelling to draw in consumers who crave something new yet comforting.

By introducing Cuban-inspired flavors through an approachable fast-food concept, El Cubanos opens the door to an exciting culinary experience for everyone, whether they’re exploring halal dining or simply curious about trying something different.
